Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas Tell State Lawmakers to Stop Anti-Jobless Bills

All across America, Republican governors and state legislatures are proposing and moving bills aimed at punishing the unemployed - rather than putting the jobless back to work.

In Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Florida and more than a dozen other states, GOP lawmakers are pushing legislation to drug test the unemployed, cut their unemployment benefits, reduce the amount of weeks the jobless can collect, and... the list goes on.

It's all part of a concerted attack by the GOP on the middle class.

Tell your governor and state legislature to drop their attacks on the jobless - or prepare for the unemployed to settle the score in 2012.
