Let Your Voice Be Heard

Send an email letter to your State Legislators, the Governor, and the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Educate Our State has created the Budget Trigger Project to better understand the impact of these potential cuts. This is a simple two step process. It all starts with the Educate Our State Budget Trigger Project worksheet! Click the link below in Step One to download the worksheet.

This Budget Blows

The California legislature on the verge of blowing it, and our children are going to pay the price.  The current budget proposal depends on revenue generated from a not-yet-passed November initiative -- but even kindergartners know the school year starts months before that. Our schools can’t pay for teachers and programs with money they don’t have and might never get.  We need to speak up and urge our legislators to pass a budget that funds education NOW!
