Congressional Advocacy Tutorial

  1. The first step is to click on the More Information link on the Advocacy & Policy page



  2. Next click on the 'Write Your Legislators' link for your appropriate issue as seen in the screen shot below



  3. On the following page you will enter your contact information and click the Edit/Send Emails button

    Note: a printable letter option is also available. Clicking "Edit/Print Your Letters" will allow you to open the letter in your word processor, edit, print then mail or fax

  4. In the last step, you may edit the sample email prepared for you and personalize your message if you choose. Then you click the Send Email button
