Thank House Members Who Signed the Peace Corps Dear Colleague Letter

PLEASE READ OR SKIP TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS INTRODUCTION TO WRITE TO YOUR HOUSE REP!

A key way for Members of Congress to enlist support for their cause is through a Dear Colleague letter. Members of Congress author a letter addressed to a specific audience and circulate it amongst other members to sign.

This year's Peace Corps funding letter requests $450 million for Fiscal Year 2022 (an increase of $40 million from previous years) and presents justification, including details on supply, demand, and programmatic needs. While stating the agency's progress on reforms, it also states the need for maintaining and refining reforms in the areas of safety and healthcare.

If your Representative signed the Garamendi–Graves Peace Corps Funding Dear Colleague Letter, please send them a thank you message! Use this link to read the letter. For background on whether your Rep signed last year's letter and their status regarding the current letter, go to the "Learn More" section.

Please note that available prefix options for letters to members of Congress are determined and required by legislative offices, not NPCA.
