It's Time to Pass the Peace Corps Reauthorization Act!

National Peace Corps Association's top legislative priority is passing the Peace Corps Reauthorization Act. On July 19, 2022, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee – on a voice vote – passed bipartisan legislation to strengthen and improve the Peace Corps its version of the legislation (S. 4466). Meanwhile, The House of Representatives passed their version of the legislation (H.R. 1456) with equally strong, bipartisan support.

As we move towards the closing weeks of the 117th Congress, we must mobilize our community to pass the Peace Corps Reauthorization Act this year! Please write to your members of Congress today and stay involved in efforts to pass this once-in-a-generation legislation.
