Post-Peace Corps Week Action to Congress
We have just concluded Peace Corps Week marked by the March 1st, 65th anniversary of then President Kennedy's signing an executive order which launched the Peace Corps.

We ask you to mark 65 years of Peace Corps service by reaching out to your members of Congress.

Be a voice for continued strong funding to support and increase opportunities for citizens to serve as Peace Corps Volunteers. This includes asking House members to sign the annual Peace Corps funding letter that is now circulating.

Also, we encourage you to ask lawmakers to recognize past and present volunteers with a Congressional Gold Medal

This action is designed to allow you to edit and personalize this message, including sharing a brief sentence or two about your Peace Corps experience, or why the Peace Corps helps make our country stronger, safer, and more prosperous.

Thank you!

If you are using this letter writing service for the first time, be aware that the name of your lawmaker, and your name and address, will be automatically added when you send your message.

Please note that available prefix options for letters to members of Congress are determined and required by legislative offices.
